Bylaws Committee Maintain the Chapter Bylaws and make recommendations regarding the national Bylaws and Regulations. Chair: Hector Ingram, MAI
Candidate Guidance Committee Facilitate networking among Advisors to Candidates and arrange special programs and events for Candidates to encourage and help them in their efforts to become Appraisal Institute Designated Members. Chair: Matt Benyon, MAI
Candidates/Practicing Affiliate Committee Discuss issues impacting Candidates and provide recommendations to other bodies, work to enhance communications among Candidates, and work with the Chapter Candidate Guidance Committee. Chair: Caitlin McCain, MAI
Education Committee Create, plan, and execute educational activities for the Chapter. Chair: Greyson Morgan, MAI
Finance Committee Periodically review the general financial condition of the Chapter and submit reports to the Chapter Board of Directors. Prepare a proposed budget for the succeeding operating year. Chair: Erica Butler, MAI
Government Relations Committee Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and report developments to the Chapter and the National Government Relations Committee and promote the Appraisal Institute’s policies and programs regarding legislation and regulations that are of interest and importance to appraisers. Leadership Development & Advisory Council (LDAC) Committee Promote and encourage NC appraisers to apply and attend the LDAC meeting in Washington, DC. LDAC is a valuable forum for appraisers to develop leadership skills, network with appraisal professionals, and promote the profession to lawmakers. Chair: Vanessa Hall, MAI

Public Relations Committee Publicize the activities, programs, and benefits of the Chapter and promote attendance at Chapter meetings and educational events. Chair: Julie Lemonds
Real Estate Valuation Conference Committee Develop conference programming and recruit conference sponsors. Chair: Brian R. Crowder, MAI, SRA
Scholarship Committee Responsible for ensuring fair and equitable distribution of scholarships to eligible applicants each year, and sound management of the invested scholarship fund. Identify courses eligible for scholarship funds, publish application deadlines, review applications, and distribute the maximum funds available annually. Chair: Miles Hamrick, Sr., MAI, AI-GRS
